We make quality wooden coffins
FRATELLLI DURBANO S.N.C. Est. 1975 by Giovanni and Roberto Durbano
From the very beginning, we have specialized in the construction of funeral coffins.
Today, we boast an annual production of approximately 9000 coffins, marketed across Italy and abroad.
Durbano’s coffin line features over thirty different models, varying in wood type, workmanship and finishes.
The woods we work with include spruce, larch, beech, afara, walnut, chestnut, mahogany and oak.
We only use varnishes derived from natural, non-synthetic and water-based resins, in compliance with the most rigorous quality and environmental standards.

Coffins specifications:
- Coffin thickness no less than 25 mm, even in engravings.
- Coffin bottom formed by whole length planks, with one to a maximum of five planks joined firmly side by side using secure and long-lasting glue.
- Lid and side walls (borders, sides, head and foot) are made using one or more whole length planks.
- Holes in the lid allow it to be joined, in compliance with Italian Presidential Decree 285/90.

Our production process takes place exclusively in ITALY at our facility in Brossasco, in the Province of Cuneo, according to the highest craft standards, and using the best qualified personnel.
